Up until yesterday, I shared your sentiments! I needed another pair of shoes to use out in the shed etc. I thought they were plastic, too... they're actually a softish rubber/plastic combination and bloody comfortable. I shit you not!

As for the holes - that is honestly part of their charm...you can wear them but when outside it's like you aren't wearing shoes. They also don't have that thong thing going on like jandals and they slip on and off in an instant but some how curiously they stay on when you walk?! They are amazing like that. I should add too that our crocs are *therapuetic* they have little massaging nodules
Oh and if you don't like the holes you can even get bling for to cover up the holes...see below
