Hahaha, I have always wondered, but what happens when they have played a season of games??
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

    That's a very good point.

So - to win the world cup, they'll need the help of NZ, Australia, USA, Canada, India, and all the other countries who helped with the wars?
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

No, you see they've already won two world cups, although they did get some help from those prenennial chockers the All Blacks, who were good enough to give the Wallabies an inflated view of their worth...

But the English only won 1 world cup at rugby. Are you counting 1966 as well?

    then there's this
and we've "won" 2 world wars the same way england did.... with the help of everyone else....

so come back to me when you've won 2 or 8 world cups..... and a war all by yerself!!!

    bloody pomgolians

    Comprehension not a strong point?
    1. Two World Wars and Two World Cups. I didn't say which sport, as I expected that any halfwit would know what I was on about (obviously I was wrong on that count).

    2. It's difficult to win a war all by yourself, as there has to be at least two participants.

    3. Rugby League????!!! Who gives a rats arse about League?

If the poms are fighting, it takes about eight countries (on one side)

dunno... I don't follow rugby of any kind... just making sure I had some facts before I spouted off.... I thought any halfwit would do that... (obviously I was wrong)

England has one two world cups at "Football". One at Association Football and the other at Rugby Union.

Gee, I see your grasp of world history is similar to your knowledge of sport - insular and shallow.
