Ya still got 3 weeks to sort a road kit for the CRF & join me. Would be quite a challenge on the wee bikes, not just a weekend cruize eh?
Sometimes you wish it was easier, but if it was, everyone else would do it, then you remember you don't want to be like everybody else!

I have lately been reconsidering that possibility, or trading my crf on one like yours instead of trying to do it myself.
As for doing a trip like that on it.... way too much highway for me on a wee bike like them, in which case first word crosses my mind is... 'ouch'.

    On the road again

I have put my name down for this run
Will check out some of the roads and clip-on on the way and coming back from the Woodstock Rally.
Have a old friend from up north coming down to stay the weekend and do the run.

    Righto plans are firming up...

Leaving Remmers/Greenlane approx 5.00pm Thur (trying for earlier but work keeps getting in the way of my riding...) and hope to get as far as possible. Taihape is probable stop over but if weather is good then maybe get further on.

Plan is to get the 1030 or 1435 Ferry on Friday. Will book ferry on Thurs / Fri.

Have leave booked out to Wed the next week so slow ride home and a few beers after the run.

PM/post if you would like to meet up on the way

    Cheers

No specific date that I could find except that they want you to register on the website (no fee) so they can get indications of numbers for certificates etc.

If you cant make it just withdraw eh.

    See you there

Smile I see they have changed the rules abit

You can now go either half on either day

"Riders choose which of the Northerly or Southerly Route they do on either day. You may look at the weather in advance and make your choice based on avoiding rain, up to you."

    Anyone going south first?
