    Just a quick question of those in the know. Are these kinds of runs done 100% on tarseal?

    With only roadworks, the exception.... any "off road" riding done by entrants....purely accidental.....

    Hmmm...might be something worth considering for the future...managed to get from the rally to Invercargill in a little under 4 hours last time I was out...had to take a detaour via Gore to avoid roadworks too.

    I'd say most are seal only based rides, but if you're looking for a rough dirt/seal mix then check out the Dusty Butt 1000 in the Adventure Forum.
