    But they ask specifically about speed camera fines...well Kiwibike did....and I spilled all the beans too!

    If thats the case about them not giving a shit about who was riding the bike at the time the photo was taken then it makes you think twice about lending you bike out to anyone for them to ride cos who wants to be hit with a fine for doing something they had nothing to do with. Apparently you dont lose any demerit point if caught speeding thru a speed camera parked on the side of the road, am i correct in saying this?.

    Correct. You don't get demerit points for speed camera 'infringements'.

    Went past a speed camera van at 160 on the Taupo rd a month or more ago.
    Guess I would of got the ticket by now, but it would of been a frontal shot.
    What a shame.
