    beige rocks

So the cricket was hit and giggle but the night was very entertaining for mine - forget the result - you guys just rock.
I'm old enough to remember those terry towelling hats and headbands first hand, but damn i enjoyed the beige. 4.4 years i've been here now and i love this county's sense of humour.

Can that be the end of underarm anger? please, believe me - the sane ones of us were just as pissed off as rod marsh was.

Not as much as you guys huh

The fact that no one's responded to this thread in 8 hours probably means that KBers couldn't give two shits about either cricket, or Australians.......

I agree that the cricket was secondary to the actual event. I think I would get a bit bored after too much.
But the party looked great fun - reminds me of the rugby sevens.

As for the underarm thing - leave us to our righteous indignation.
It provides a rallying point for us as a nation - sad as that may seem.

I had no idea Mr. McGrath had a sense of humour, he normally looks so serious, good on him though...he should've bowled that ball. I thought the beige, the facial hair and the 'fro's were tremendous.

Billy Bowden is an idiot, though.

I wouldn't mind if he only umpired the 20/20 stuff, but when it comes to "real" cricket, he should realise that a good umpire is invisible for most of the time.

I was there and had a bloody good nights entertainment. The fun side of the game added to the enjoyment, good on the players for having a laugh. Beige rocks!

    P.S. Was Marshall's afro real?????

I did try and tempt him out but no go. Trying to get him to a midweek day in March but not having much luck.

I think he prefers his leather black and of german origin......

We've got a corporate box at Seddon (Westpac) Park here.
About as much use as a chocolate teapot now.

I am going to the ODI at Eden Park next week.

I can't get to the ODI next week unfortunately. We must get the TV set up in Vege's office for the tests. It is still sitting in a box on his office floor!!
