Criminologist Greg Newbold challenges Rethinking Crime and Punishments Kim Workman following the recent publication of an article, titled 'Another One Bites the Dust: Recent Initiatives in Correctional Reform in New Zealand', by noted New Zealand criminologist Dr Greg Newbold.
"This 'suppress the unpalatable message' approach is typical of the liberal Left when it is confronted with evidence that doesn't fit its mindset. Perhaps what scares Mr Workman most is Dr Newbold pointing out that from 1950-85 our imprisonment rate per 100 crimes committed dropped from three per 100 to 0.5 per 100.
