2nd supersport race just been run. Was a very closely fought race between Gareth Jones and James Smith with Jones prevailing in the end. On lap 4 or 5 Dennis Charlet dropped it in spectacular fashion with the bike cartwheeling through the air. He seemed to be ok.

Finishing off the top 3 was Nick Cole with Jay Lawrence on his Continental shod Maidstone Yamaha R6 coming in 4th and Jared Love finishing off the top 5. The 2007 champion Sam Smith managed to work his way back up to 6th after having a moment early on in the race.

The clubmans race has nearly finished off now with the 125's up next.

A cracking 125 race has just concluded. Close racing with 4 riders, Cameron Jones, Tim Macarthur, Avalon Biddle and Jadan Hassan fighting tooth and nail for the top position. Going into turn 1 on the final lap both Cameron Jones and Avalon went down leaving Macarthur to take the win with Jadan Hassan in second and Ken Jones rounding off the podium.

This leaves Tim Macarthur as the clear winner of the first round with winning all three of the weekends races. The rest of the field is very closely fought with a few crashes and mechanical problems for the other riders.

Next up the 1000's hit the track!

8 odd Superbikes hahaha god dam haha

Time to DROP the Superbike class, and RE introduce F2 with the rules as they once were with the SS600 being the main NZ Class structure?

Cheapish/ cost effective and a lot more of a show

Yes sadly the superbikes aren't that full of riders but that definately doesn't mean the racing is any worse. The second race of the day has just finished and Bugden took the win just ahead of Stroud and Jones with Sherrifs in fourth place. After leading for the first few laps Sherrifs ran off track coming onto the straight and was relagated to fourth for the rest of the race.

So Bugden takes both of the days races with the rest of the field closely following.

Only one more race to run this weekend, the hotly contested streetstock 150's with a grid in the mid 30's, easily the biggest class down here.

Anyone know what happened to streetstock rider in last race, he barrel rolled n race was red flagged, most people took off then me included.
It took Budgen to havea bad start for superbikes to b nothing but a one man show, he won after being 5 after 1st lap
