    Spencer at Atomic has 3 or 4 engines in bits. Generally the bottom end stuff is OK as the top end went due too learner riders getting a little short on oil

    HAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... sorted, just brought a bottom end with big thanks to you know who ya are
    Rod kit and new barrel are on the way, 2nd hand piston with new rings and YEAH man... back in busniss, well almost it will still be a while befor I can pay for it all and get it togeather.

    just an update, was kinda a bit hasty with the post quoted but botom end is here not striped yet tho but i cant see a problem with it.
    Rod kit is on the way (on tic) and Im still hanging to find a barrel, however I have located a sleave so I might be able to use that, but unsure of maching costs, and I have a used piston but best I get some new rings... hey one thing at a time, seems we need more nappies 1st how the hell can one shit so much

    yes,maybe KB isnt thebest place to get top dollar, however it went to a good home.

    I don't mind selling it for that price, nor wasn't looking for good money. But I was just saying how an engine can be sold so expensive.

    only cos the engine was at a dealership/bussnis, had it been private it might have been cheaper... however due to increased FXRs in F4 the prices are going up, shit I seen a used FXR selling for the same price they were new last week.

    Apparently some of the wreckers are getting calls from Australia looking for FXR bits, engines mainly.

    weheeeeeeeeeee... well bugger me aye, the BMRC club have donated me a wee fund so thats paid for the new rod kit, just need to pay for the machining, barrel and piston kit, bout time the missus went back to work I think.

    Thanks to:
    SRS for donating time to the re rebuild http://www.motorbikeparts.co.nz/
    BMRC for some funding
    Shelracing for a good deal on a bottom end.
