I wouldn't be surprised. My KTM is of course at the porky end of things for a motard and the (second hand!) Pirelli superbike slick front (SC1) looked fresh as a daisy after the last trackday. Although, not such a bad thing. Super stable and no slides. Maybe it's just that awesome WP suspension
Must say I am growing to like my Pirelli MT60Rs. Not really a track tyre, but slightly less grip on tarmac can be a lot of fun at times As can slightly more grip on the rough stuff.
Feels very different from the Michellin Pilot Power/Sport I ran before.

You really notice the difference with the MT60's when you get onto grass or damp clay.
Have taken mine on a 4wd track with the MT60's and it was good fun!
I believe that, although I still have to take it out on the shingle avenues of Banks Peninsula.
The front was much more reluctant to let go when I pulled over onto the grassy verge and deliberately tried to lock the front up. Likewise, it wasn't quite as quick to spin up the rear taking of from the grass as well.
