    Lightbulb Camera owners LOOK

    Hey guys,
For all of you that love taking the camera on rides and snapping up a storm I have option to buy SD Cards at a great price, problem is as usual we need to buy in bulk.

4Gb SD high speed cards only $20.
2Gb SD high speed cards for $15
1Gb SD high speed for $11

    can also do:
    8Gb sd cards for $38
    4Gb micro sd for $30
    2Gb micro sd $23
    1Gb micro sd $15

Plus between $1.50 and $2 shipping.

Let me know if you guys are interested. It only takes 10 people from KB and I have enough to grab them.

Tempting...... but (however) I already have 10Gb of SD cards, which represents several thousand photos.
BTW (heads up!) - DON'T buy an 8Gb card for your camera even though it's less $$ per Gb; get two 4GB ones instead. I found out in Firenze (Florence) that your average Interdweeb cafe's card reader can't cope with SDHC cards, and (PLUS!) it takes a shitload of time to download 8Gb off the camera using the USB port, and another moderately long amount of time to write them to two (2!) DVDs.
That's 90 minutes or so of my life I could've spent browsing beautiful Firenze instead of hanging out with dweeboids in a cafe which didn't even sell espresso.
    4Gb = 1 DVD = easy.

Hey dude, high speed, backwards comp.
Basically a MIN speed of 6Meg/sec.

oh and a note, Most cameras will take a 4Gb card but some won't do 8's.
The software for reading an sd card allows up to 6gb of space in the ram (random access memory) once you go over it then requires software (not a simple chip) to search through the files etc in a sensible time.

SO you have the numbers to make this viable? I would be very keen for a few 4GB cards. Maybe also an 8GB card. If this is a goer...let me know.

oh yea, for sure, i've had so many messages (in and outside KB) its def going ahead.

Oh and free shipping (ok an envelope with card, adaptor if applic and the casing where you need a sharp knife to open) so dont worry about the 1.50 posted earlier.

the 8gb are now $36 each due to the numbers.

and if you really really want (and have lots of money) sony do a 128Gb vault for only $428!
I'd rather buy a hard drive and a used laptop for that. But seriously when will it stop?
I thought 3 years ago my 1Gb was big, now today alas

    Comments from a friend today

My Man, today it is cool to have a small cell phone, a small laptop, a small music player, even those small cars are now COOL.
He said, but my man, when the day comes that having a little penis is cool, you will be the man.

Seems I am always on the fringe...
I went for Beta in the VHS wars,
I had a Sega Saturn instead of Playstation
And now, for my Camera I can only use XD cards...

Do you have cheap XD cards? I need to upgrade mine...
