dunno if my limited experience means much but my oipinion- FIRST time out dont fark with stock settings 
.  In other words .
Do what you already know works for you on the road  dont bugger with your head worrying about supeflous shite.  
 Unless you are a budding Mr Rossi then your first time on the track is going to be a whirl of sensory imputs. adding another element just aint worth the trouble. 
 When ya have done a lap or two then lets talk
 That said ---given the chance  have a natter on the day to one of the 150SS racers. Their bikes are the closest  power/weight wise to yours that are likely to be out there.
