94 YZF 750 no power BUT 12.8v on battery

in rode to work not a problem. came off work turned my key nd nothing. no power to head lights, any thing wats so ever.

got a multi meter nd tested the battery 12.8v thats fine. termainals tight. all fues are fine. even put a jumper pack on it before testing battery volts nd nothing

the battery is a bit old if lights were left on for a few mins that was engouth for it to not start. also in the last week been a bit weird to start when warm. some times it would. some times it wouldnt. i put it down to old battery nd orderd a new one. but thats no good now lol

any body got any ideas what could be wrong?

SORTED!!!!!!!!!!

was the connecter from the wiring harness to the ignition. was so old nd crapd up that no good connection. so cut it out. nd put a new one in nd im away XD

5 hours with a multi meter nd tripple checking every thing nd then deciding to short out the ignition aka "hot wire" it. a mate nd i saw the problem before we had to do that so
