Im from a university team who design and build a small open wheel race car for an international competition called formula SAE, check out http://www.fsae.co.nz for more info on the team.
We generally run a supercharged R6 but are moving to a 450 single this year to reduce weight and improve fuel economy (this is worth more points this year).
As such we are looking for a wr450f engine, a complete bike would be fine, but we want to spend $4000 at the very maximum. A half buggered engine would be fine if it were cheap. We are funded completely by sponsorship so don't have a lot of money.
