XT660X problem... Help please

hi guys,

i found this forum through google because I am really getting desperate with my new XT660X 2008 and I hope someone can help me

2 months ago a problem begun and while I was driving, the bike was choking like it was going to stop and then switch on again... I took it to my mechanicer and put it on the computer he found that there was a problem with the ECU... 6 MONTHS OLD BRAND NEW BIKE AND HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE ECU
Anyway, he fixes that and the bike was fine for one two months...
Yesterday however, while i was driving again the rpm suddenly increased and whenever I left my hand off the handle the rpm are still high...

my mechanicer is really making me angry cos he thinks everything is fine... I need a new mechanicer as well...

Does anyine have the same problem??????

Sounds like your ecu is buggered.
Should be a warranty claim for a new one.

Try xt660.com. They have a bloke on there called Kev who will help you sort your surging issues out. Good Luck.
