    Petrol consumption of your cage?

After upgrading from a small 1989 car to a small 2001 car I have found the jump in fuel efficiency very noticeable.

My old car did nearly 150km to $20 dollars petrol at current prices and i thought that was pretty good for a car but now i find this new car is doing just over 200km to $20 at current prices. Must be the fuel injection? Not that much motorway driving either.

In other words i'm getting about 6.6L/100km rather than 8L/100km.

Would be interested to see what the 5.5L holdens do! Are they just terrible for fuel?

What fuel mileage do you get in your cage?

A thought might be to ask this question on a car site
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

Not sure of my ks, as firstly my speedo is in miles and second - it's a bit dodgy.

But a full tank $25 will last me all week. At least a couple hundy ks worth. Driving all over auckland.

...oh yeah, I drive an old skool mini

    I'd hate to think

I've got an XJR Jag, and on X-mas day I drove it to Gissy from here (Welly) in 5 hours flat. It used 135l. On the way back I took it easy (took 6 hours) and it used 70l!

It's not what we're driving...it's how we drive it!

    Mine's not too good, just about 6l/100k - so, 340ish k's to a tank.
