Bloody good writeup ... you have such a way with words. My weekend was similarly jinxed with incidents but unlike yours mine were self inflicted and too embarassing to reveal.

Pity I couldn't get the bike together for Monday as I was really keen to get out with Aaron ! Oh well next time.

Nice one broooo, sounds like a good weekend Probably catch you at Paeroa. You gonna be racin' there? I'm planning to be on Chris' 400 and hopefully my 6, too.

A CBR Manwich so to speak? You talking about crossing swords off the track as well as on then :-)

I got 1 decent session following him but after that he didn't slow down enough for my ickle 400. Very insightful following him into the hairpin though. I gained a lot from a couple of other F1/F2 riders though.

Nah mate....took a pootle around Paeroa on the Ducati and if after 15 years or so they can't be arsed doing something (like decent air fences) about the lamp posts and brick walls on the corner exists then I can't be arsed risking my life for them. They make enough money on that event and it's high time some of it was spent on riders and safety*. You will almost certainly see me at Wanganui (I wish I'd done it this year but thought it had long straights and hazards like Paeroa)...and perhaps another street race though.

You're welcome to stay at mine though....we won't be having a BBQ this time though so you will get a decent nights kip**

Did you say you'll be racing a 400? That will be very interesting

The old 600 was a ballhair off 1.20. I'm gobsmacked as it didn't feel fast wot with the brakes, rear shock and ground clearance issues still to be worked on.

*cue the "HTFU" statements. Well I don't care.
** unless a certain female racer tries to jump you
