Sketchy wins F3 race at Nats

Well done to that young fella................gonna be a lot of orders for the GSXR450's coming soon.

    Taken from NZSBK.co.nz

Terry Fitzgerald led from flagdrop but Glen Williams went into the lead in the esses on lap 1. Terry repassed in the sweeper to lead for a few laps. Glen Skachill rode really well in third place. Skachill went into second on lap 2, then into the lead. What thrilling racing. Fantastic dicing with Skachill/Williams and Fitzgerald.

Pro Twins - Geoff Booth led from Sam Love for a couple of laps, then Sam Love took the lead. Geoff passed Sam again on lap 4, a very good race in this class. Sam took the win, with Geoff second.

Jason Easton retired on lap 4.

Glen Skachill broke the lap record twice, on lap 5 at 1.12:183 then in lap 6 at 1:12:059

Glen Williams clinched the F3 championship title (again) with his second place.

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Holy crap, that's awesome. Congrats Glenn, inspirational stuff. Just watched last years Paeroa races on TV today, now I'm more pumped than ever to get my VFR out there after seeing these results of Glenns. Pity got my wrist in a cast, and only get it off on friday.

Great stuff Sketchy. Looks like you and Ozzy have a good partnership going. Will be great to see how you go at Puke as I reacon the bike has really good top end speed.

Lost count of how many times you broke the lap record. But its just a whisker over 12 secs now for an F3 bike! Incredible.

Awesome pic, pretty much shows the flavour of the whole days racing !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !
