Plus Wanganui is hugely pyshical on a 600.

Brian with your experience i think you will pick it up within a few laps. And the entry to turn 1 is so wide you should be able to outbrake 3/4 of the field off the line!
My quess is you'll qualify about 10th for king of the streets
Have fun over the back straight jumps!!

Thanks for that and great to hear that you're recovering. I still have a horrible feeling that my jump start on that Manfield grid kind of triggered the chain of events that led to you getting hurt mate....sorry.

Will be treating Paeroa as a learning experience this year so we'll see what happens and if that top 10 comes about........
The older i get the faster i used to be.......

They are using transponders this year so id say they will be using times for grid positions...
    Negative big fella.
Your grid positions should be all sorted and on the wall when you sign on and get scrutineered. Based on previous race performance. Sounds a bit weird but it actually seems to work good. Takes all the pressure off for the all too short practice sessions.

I'd race Paeroa every weekend of the year if I could. Best race track in New Zealand.

Hey dont worry about it man. Like you said it was a chain of events. These things happen. We've all jump started before and its not usually a problem.

Like i said before Choppa, with you and Brian starting from the back, Just be gentle off the line (Its very narrow and congested at the start line, 6 bikes per row i think.) and nail them all coming out of the kink into turn 1 (very very wide)
Ill be watching from the bank at the hairpin. See yas there.

I found last year that there was quite a gap to the left of the track off the start line - I went there and got past a third of the grid before the kink.

It did make the kink interesting though, as the rest of the field merged left.

I have a gazebo and a generator if anyone is looking to borrow one for the street race.

I'm not doing this street race so I won't need it.

    I'm in Wellington.
