    Hog attitude

Bloody hedge hogs... It dosnt seem that long ago that I had my last dog, and if a hog steped on the property it would be nabed up and escorted off and the dog would return with a mouth full of spikes, dogs knew there job at any cost. Hogs were slow, like it used to take 3 days for the farkers to cross the drive, if ya so much as looked at one it would curl up in a ball for a week.
I used to pick em up on a shovel and hurl them 2 houses down, next week they would be back.

So whats with the attitude of hogs these days, I went out side to find the dogs having an indepth convo with a hog, lets call him Harry. Now Harry wasnt put off by the K9's what so ever but I figgered Id send Harry on his way, so just like the old days on the shovel and 'swing' opps dosent seem I have the arm or aim that I used to, Harry went head 1st into the vegie gardin, by the time I got over there harry had fled on foot (cant of liked the avation experance) I took chase and the littly 'prick' out ran me WTF. He ran straight back to were I picked him up from, so I thought Id duck inside and grab the camera, gone all of 10secs and came out to find hed shoot through.

Heard bit of a carry on on the front lawn so headed in that direction and found Harry and the K9's chowing down like it was a oll mates picnic, not on each other it seems Harry was showing the dogs the best parts on the garden to eat, so fark it if thats how they want to play it so be it. Do the math 10seconds and 15meters... how many kph is that? At one stage Harry chased the Staff it was like 'race to the garden dude'.

Just adopt him. Y'know you want to - you already called him Harry.

    Great pics!
We have a hedgehog that hangs aroiund here, it is as yet unnamed.
Noisy buggers when they're at 'it' though!

Had one here a couple of years ago that was blind and only had three legs. It was rather funny watching this poor thing stagger round and round the BBQ. He did it every night, we thought perhaps he was training for the Paralympics marathon.

Hedgehogs rock. There was a snippet on them on 'Life of Mammals' last night.

    Ring worm isn't a bug - it's a fungal skin infection - tinea corporis.
If it wasn't for a concise set of rules, we might have to resort to common sense!

Don't they eat slugs and snails? Not too sure why you dislike them so much D? My issue with them is our dogs kick up a stink during the night if they find/see them. And if they get hold of one, it's all over rover for the poor prickly bugger

I used to have a boxer who one time repeatedly nudged a hedgehog, getting stabbed harder and harder each time, getting progressively more angry (ok, so he was not overly blessed in the brains department) until he got really pissed off and just killed it. I can't count the number of times I had to remove hedgehog spikes from his lips!
