    Latino dancing

Silly question, far from bikes lol.
Has anyone been to the latino dancing in Auckland.
I saw some on the Hive. DJ King Salsa at the mexican cafe and another called Club Salsa. They start late at night not sure when they close.
Anyway has any members been to these places before as I am taking my lady tonight but unsure which one to go to? and where to park.
I cant dance lol she can so its going to be fun.
Any help would be most apreciated.
If you are behind meDont ask as I am lost too.

You'll be right, for most of the basic stuff, it's the women doing the turns and spins etc

He still has lead her into it, ya muppet!

Eh Portokiwi, ever thought of taking a couple of lessons first? Just so you can both enjoy yourselves properly...I used to go to Ceroc, which is just a Rockn'roll equivalent, and from my experience, just turn up to the first one you find and try it. Then try another and settle for the one you feel most comfortable in...

Since your lady dances already, she'll enjoy herself no matter what, but you obviously need to learn a few basics, so make sure you feel comfortable with whoever teaches.

Oh and wear comfortable shoes that have a semi-slipping sole, it'll help.

Both of the places have teachers at the start of the night it says..... So even people like me with two left might learn a few moves,Has been our resident DJ for the past five years and continues to amaze with his sexy mix of salsa, samba, merengue, Latin pop and much more which has made him the most popular Latin DJ in Auckland.

Dance teachers will be available on hand to teach you all the right moves.

This performance the part of our two week fiesta to celebrate the Mexican Cafe's 25th anniversary - come and join us for live performances every night with dance teachers, spot prizes and a chance to meet a trip to Mexico

Club Salsa is Auckland's only Salsa Night Club and Tequila Bar.

Come to party, practice, socialize, meet new people, and have fun with your dancing in a relaxed and friendly environment . . .

Dance with someone new, a classmate, or a friend and move around the floor like no one is watching.

There’s always someone here at Club Salsa to dance with.

We play the most up-to-date music videos and salsa tracks while mixing in the classics on our huge screen.

Helpful instructors are always at hand to give you some pointers and teach the basics . . .

Of course you will...and once you get into it, it is a lot of fun.

I've danced with a few guys who started out looking like concrete poles and they turned out to be pretty good after a few lessons.

Just remember that it is supposed to be fun! a lot of guys think too hard about it and turn into robots

Besides, latin dancing is basically sex in motion and with clothes on...it is the most fun you'll have while remaining non exhibitionist about it (well, sort of...)

Exactly!! There is truly nothing worse than a man leading with a soft hand, making me wonder if I shoudl be dipping HIM into a drop...or one that jars my shoulder out of its socket at every turn, wanting to prove that he is masterful

My husband makes Fred Astair look like a fumbling two stepper

The jury's still out on whether the Gallic love for hyperbole should constitute an actual criminal offense, y'know.

Still, it's good to see that you've caught the parts of Fred Astaire's films that showed him dancing, even if you missed the bits where his name was printed on screen.

kiwibiker is full of love, an disrespect.

So sue me! At least, I can half pretend being able to know what Mr Astaire does, and reply in kind...

mmmm...yes, I know. Let's just say that criticism gets to even the staunchest of us.

I got tired of negative comments and looked forward to some peace by toning it down a little.

Sorry if that is not as entertaining. I guess I'll get over it eventually and go all raunchy again
