    Tyre wear...

Approaching 14,000km and the rear tyre, although it has reasonable tread left, has squared off badly - to the point where it almost looks as though the middle line of the tyre is below the level of the areas either side of it...(not seen that before). Have always run at recommended pressures a la book.
So would you change it now or would you run the last coupla thousand km out of it? Can't say it handles that badly, but then, you get used to things that sneak up very slowly...

I'd change it personally. Would suck(not in a good way) if the next thread you posted up said something like "if only I had changed my tyres).
    14,000kms...oh how I dream

How good a price? I'm up to 17000kms. Not squared off but definitely on borrowed time...
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Cycletreads are near $100 dearer - without fitting and balancing. And it IS a set - front and rear....

My bad, I take it back, for a "set" that would be an awesome price.

Hell, I'd be happy with $465 to my door and I'd put them on myself!
