    Fitness/get in shape social group?

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON'T KNOW/AREN'T AWARE OF IT AND INTERESTED THIS GROUP IS UP AND RUNNING, IF YOUR GENUINELY INTERESTED HAVE A LOOK AND JOIN IN- IT'S GOTTA BE GOOD FOR YA!

In light of the recent thread "who is the fattest bastard on KB" I was thinking it might be cool to start a group where you can maybe put in up-dates on your weight loss (or gains for those wanting to put on muscle) post up before and after pics and was thinking of having a laid back comp for 3 months starting monday 12th Jan to see who has the best results, with 2 weekly progress up-dates.......

And just to clarify i'm not thinking of a support group where you sit around in a circle rubbing each other off, just somewhere where you can share your progress etc and see how others are getting on. And yes I know there are other sites where you can do this just seeing if anyone on here is keen.

Personally i'd like the groups members to actually be somewhat serious about getting into it rather than just talking about it.....

Also one last thing, if your not interested........I don't care, and i'm not interested in ya negative input....so please take your urge to let me know elsewhere.....

Will there be a regular meeting place, like a pub of some sort?

Good idea. Another forum I read has an Exercise thread and it is popular.

Well actually it is a support group as you will be encouraging/praising one another and the idea of failing in front of others drives you to try harder. Just no rubbing each other off unless someone comes up with an icon for it

Hahaha, yeah pretty much, was just meaning that it's not intended to be a "soft -fairy / fluffy we all love each other and want to wrap each other up in cotton wool" jenny group, just a group with common goals, be it increasing strength or losing weight etcetc...
would be good to put up sites and info of places doing current deals on products also....

    Good Idea!

Bikers need to be fit too!
I would love to join...but I can't make the meetings in the local pubs, sorry.
I am currently doing a complete body transformation. No not plastic surgery! Better! Weight lifting, I am loving it! I go to the gym regularly and I just started doing cardio in the mornings at home. I have a personal trainer and he promised me a 10 layer chocolate cake at the end of your training sessions around April! Now if that isn't motivation for me, I don't know what is...! Chocolate! Yummmmmy!

Here is a little tip my trainer gave me, do cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, watch the fat melt off! Then do cardio before your last meal of the night! I am currently up at 4 AM before work to do cardio, then I go in to train 3 times a week with trainer after working a 12 hours shift on top of that! I hate it! Sundays are my rest days! But I am so looking forward to seeing the changes my body makes come June!

    Stay Tuned!

Well, I need to do a bit of weight loss meself.

I was 106kgs in July, got down to 91.8 week before Xmas.

This morning I'm 94.8 so it's put down the beer time too.

I'm in. Goal weight is 85 kgs. God knows what my leathers will look like by then. I got them when I was 98kgs and stretched them a bit over winter last year.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
