She does not have a dianosed form of mental illness. She has been asked that question. She does have an alternate place to live and has a registered address in Otaki. She chose to move her house truck to the location it was parked to deliberately cause an issue with the council. All they've done is abide by the bylaws passed democratically. There are those that are genuinely mentally ill and need all the assistance that can be offered but there are those whose objective in life is to garner any attention they can to their cause by creating an issue then trying to defend it. As in this case. She's had the Coalition for Action Against the Fascist Government (or some organisation) visit her already. There are those that will complain because they have nothing to complain about

yea... undiagnosed mental illnesses are the worst.. i suffer from a dose of PTSD myself and it wasn't diagnosed until recently (everyone around me just thought i was a dick).. just sat in there since the mid-80's and festered..so until diagnosed .. you cant tell anyone you have bi-polar, schizophrenia, paranoia etc..

Sarge, if you think I am advocating ripping into people with a genuine mental illness (rather than just people who are a few tinnies short of a six pack) then you don't know me very well at all. This woman is a John Minto in the making - she doesn't like the government so she deliberately parked there to make a statement. She has been asked to leave and refused. She does not have a mental illness (although I will argue she is nuts) and if she did, someone would hopefully have removed her by now and given her the medical treatment she needed.
