But we're talking about a stinky antisocial hippy here.

But lets cut to the chase. If you're talking about depression then there is plenty of help out there that doesn't require society picking up the pieces but the only help that really works is you. Meds are bullshit, womans magazines are worse and the current ads on TV have got half the country thinking they're depressed.

Not talking about depression alone you have no idea and probably would not even be able to comprehend what some people have gone through. Ive said it before and I will say it again - You cant judge that which you know nothing about. Worry about yourself and hope that nothing truly horrible ever happens to you. You never know when the shits going to hit the fan.

Well perhaps you should look at life like I do. Look for brightness not darkness.

I was wondering what happened to Sue Badford.

    mildly related:
I've spent the last week at Tapotupotu Bay (google it)

Met a couple who lived in a bus, made ornaments from shells (paua mostly) and sold them to the passing tourists.
Had a small inflatable boat to go fish chasing.
They had been doing this for some months, and projected the year would cost them about $7k on top of ornament sales ... they had enough money in the bank to pay for the year from the interest.
Plus they get to live on some of the most spectacular shores of NZ.

The were definitely hippies .. but interesting people to meet nonetheless

Does anyone else find it ironic that she is quite happy to draw a benefit but is protesting against central government - she doesn't only just complain about local government. Hmmm... getting paid by the government to complain about the government.

For the record, this woman does not have a mental illness. She is not destitute and living on the street because of any major traumatic experiences. She is trying to create an issue where there was none before.

    From Stuff;

"Council offers to make the housetruck roadworthy and have it warranted and registered, as long as she stopped camping in a public place, had been rejected. Accommodation with the council-funded Downtown Community Ministry was also refused."

I wonder if the council will pay for my warrant and rego???
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

Yeah - that's in a similar bucket to people on the dole paying tax... which goes into central coffers to hel pay... the dole... which is taxed...

    Tis a bit stupid really.

If she's breaking the rules simply hold her accountable. If she insists on breaking the rules... lock her up or get her help as appropriate. It doesn't matter if she recognises a legitimate authority or not. If that authority IS legitimate - her arse is grass!
