    Good guys to deal with and it works a treat - naming it an "oil pressure switch" is a little weird though.

    No more so than calling it a brake pressure switch. It doesn't operate on brake pressure - it operates on fluid pressure.
    If it wasn't for a concise set of rules, we might have to resort to common sense!
