    Crazy house-truck chick gets moved...

    The operation started at 5 this morning when 2 police officers, a council officer and 2 tow trucks turned up to finally move the woman who lives in her house truck opposite our building site. Living in your house truck isn't illegal until you decide you have an issue with local gubbermint, central gubbermint and anyone else who wears a uniform. She has been parked across from work (back of Vic uni/Wgtn central railway station) since around about Spetember. She hasn't paid for parking, registration or warrant of fitness since then either. So they've decided to tow her truck and kick her out. She has decided they will not move her from inside her wagon...

    We're at the point now where the pollies, towies and council guy are helping to unpack her belongings from the truck. She has just emerged from the truck...

    I saw her on telly last year, and she looked like a right cuckoo. Glad they are booting her out!

    Yeah she's a froot loop alrighty. No arrests, no struggle though. She's just moved to the space between the cafe and the building next door. Went and had a yarn to the towies - they're pissed off coz they've been there since 5 and have missed heaps of other tows! The only thing to see is people milling about doing sweet FA... A bit of an anti-climax really

    About bloody time too! When I worked on a paper in Wellington there was this woman who was on a 10-minute free parking zone for 11 minutes and got ticketed, and yet this loopy cow has been there for ages, during some of the busiest periods in Wellington, and nothing happened! They should have towed her away the following day or arrested her. Why the hell should Wellington have to put up with a loony like her - it has enough in Parliament anyway!
    Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

    We missed an oppotunity at Guy Fawkes. Would have been a better response time too if she has indeed been sitting there since September.
