    Arrow TOTNR (That other Wellington Thursday night ride) 24 February

    Gentlefolk

    It's Thursday night again. For those whose clocks run a little slower than those on the OTHER ride, let's gambol once more in this great summer weather. Rendezvous again at the Petone wharf from 6:30pm ready to ride from 6:45pm. Route to be determined by majority assent. Returning to meet up with the OTHER riders at the LH carpark sometime after 7:30pm.

    Bringing of cameras (and rear-view mirrors for Suzuki Gixxers) is optional...

    See y'all later!

    ....or they can be folded in out of harms way if you're a lazy bugger.

    Well, that was entertaining! Clearly the appeal of a comparatively sedate Thursday night ride has run its course. Tonight my convoy of one bike left the Petone wharf at the alotted time and went for a tour all on its own. It was a great night for riding too. 100km later I'm back home practicing my one person Mexican wave...

    Sorry, I have University lectures Wednesday and Thursday evenings now.

    Hitcher!........

    Sorry mate, the ONLY reason I wasn't there is that my rear tyre is completely munted... Tomorrow, I get a new one, and a luggage system

    She's gonna be an "interesting" ride into work, hoping nothing intimidates the tyre into it's final, morbid submission.

    If anyone driving past with a trailor handy see's a grown man flailing his arms and legs, rolling on the side of the motorway, crying, please for heavens sake take pity and stop to take me into Welly

    Slowly, silently, now the moon
    Walks the night in her silver shoon;
    This way, and that, she peers, and sees
    Silver fruit upon silver trees;
    One by one the casements catch
    Her beams beneath the silvery thatch;
    Couched in his kennel, like a log,
    With paws of silver sleeps the dog;
    From their shadowy cote the white breast peep
    Of doves in silver-feathered sleep;
    A harvest mouse goes scampering by,
    With silver claws and a silver eye;
    And moveless fish in the water gleam,
    By silver reeds in a silver stream.

    Inspired by Stoney's apostrophe. Rep points for naming the poet...

    I played tail end on WT's ride (as it may be his last for a while (he said, not me!))
    I'll be there next Thursday... KLX day maybe?

    F***ers!

    haha, shows that watching an ep. of family guy makes you miss out on rep points! My precious!

    Thanks Hitch, I shall never spell trailer incorrectly again!

    PS: Copy - Paste into google gives you poet's name. Nowdays, you don't have to be educated to appear intellectual. Thank god for that
