    Good 18in rubber?

Are there any 18in tyres that have proven performance in use with buckets?

Looking at the rear tyre on the bucket it's going to be needing some new hoops after this weekend.

My cb's got 18's and the current rubber looks about as old as the bike. The front has worn to a slick in between the middle and the edge, and it looks like someone's been doing burnouts on the rear and hasn't worn the 3 inch wide chicken strips off yet...

BT39's if ya budget can extend......Ching Shin 212 (I think) are very good to a point.......you just don't know where that piont is until you get there. But at $50 or so are hard to pass.

    sticky 18s

BT39 tyres are the go, but there are 2 compounds BT39 and BT39SS. 18s are available but in limited numbers and sizes... let me know your sizes and i can get a price for you.. if you need to know.

Just been in to cycletreads and there were reasonbly good tyres for $90 per end, right up to $160each. There is a new conti 18in tyre out that looks the biz, i'm going to go in there after the weekend and have a proper look at whats on offer.

dunlop tt900 race compound but I dont think they make them anymore
    $200 + each

try pricing the brigstone tires you wont find any better apart from the dunlops

but make sure they are a soft race compound

The Bridgestone BT39ss in 18 x 2.50 are marked "not for Highway use"
That's right they are race tyres!

Oh yeah the good Ching shin's are 919's not 212 thou they are not a patch on the bridgestone or the michelin m45's
