Maybe?, on the whole, but there are a few on here who can be particularly grumpy old farts who seem a little up themselves at times... Each to their own I guess. Just an observation though... not a criticism. Such is life's rich tapestry.
General poll time... is being up yourself as much fun as it sounds? I mean think of the money you could save on drinks, dinner, and a little entertainment...

Sorry. Maybe I should have said that ""Those of us who are fortunate enough to live outside the main centres Aren't we just a great big friendly bunch?"
BUT I was trynna start a light hearted kinda thread aside from the usual moaning and carrying on.
Maybe the friendly ones of you should move to Marlborough and enjoy more friendly types.

Just watch out though for SniperCBR trying to ride his cage! Scary thought! Hahahahahahaha

Hey look - I said sorry for being grumpy yesterday!

    And I'm not "up myself".
You should have put this into two distinct categories: people who are arrogant and up themselves, and grumpy old pharts.

    Oh make that three categories:
People who are arrogant and up themselves
    Grumpy old pharts
People who live outside the main centres.

Better make that four (4) categories:
People who are arrogant and up themselves
    Grumpy old pharts
People who live outside the main centres
People with mental disorders (and who are sometimes grumpy as a result)
And people who do expect the Spanish Inquisition.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

As my uncle used to say, "There are those that are friendly and like you, there are those who are friendly but dislike you, and there are those grumpy ole bastards who sometimes attempt to befriend you but have such a high opinion of themselves they should either be avoided or be punched so hard that the bruises come out on their grandchildren".

God bless ya uncle. You were a wise old sod, and yes - I think I know which categories certain KB regulars fall into.

Well then - that will be a very small category.

But we need to allow for it, just in case.

[QUOTE=vifferman]Hey look - I said sorry for being grumpy yesterday!

Hehe... and once again I accept your apology V.
But please dont think I was having a pop at you. I just perceive a wee bit of intolerance, (or maybe arrogance) on this site and it seems to come more often from those with quite a few green blobs! (whatever that means)
It usually starts with a yawn and "oh no! we've been through all this before..."

It also begs the question, does a site such as this breed cliques?
(Def: n : an exclusive circle of people with a common purpose)

    Hope not.
