big chuckle tonight. Cruising home to Picton and I passed a local KBer heading home in his cage :spudwhat: on this beautiful day. He recognised me on the shiny red CBR a bit before I recognised him. But I could not have missed the guy. Flashing his lights at me, appendages hanging out the window.
Aren't we just a great big friendly bunch.
Word of WARNING: Sniper CBR if you lean too far out your cage ya might fall out mate!!!!

Oh dear the "Wee Beast" got wet..... I hate that too when my baby gets wet in the rain..... I say "Oh shit, its raining, my poor baby is getting all wet" ...lol.... I hope that when you got "him" home after your shift, that you gave "him" a good rub down all over and that "He" is now all nice and dry and snuggled up in his garage all safe and sound.

I have only passed that way in the ferry... heading to Picton....
so many years ago.. and it wasn't a nice sailing that day...

I`d settle for a bit of rain right now,ride to work at around zero degrees at the moment and the last 2 mornings it`s been -2 on the way home.Passed an R1 this morning(being king of the Banzai lane-splitters) this morning with some poor girl on the back with a thin jacket of some kind one,definately not bike-wear and riding halfway up her back.
I`ve got a lightweight bike cover that I take to work with me,keeps the rain and frost at bay,folds up and goes into a little pouch if you can be bothered,mine gets stuffed into my rucksack.

Maybe?, on the whole, but there are a few on here who can be particularly grumpy old farts who seem a little up themselves at times... Each to their own I guess. Just an observation though... not a criticism. Such is life's rich tapestry.

sod that.. I had fun drivin in that sort of weather, but I sure as hell wouldn't ride in it. What about black ice etc? the wind chill factor would be more than enuff to get stuffed. Big-up-respeck to ya mate, but no thanx!!
