Where can I download rules for bucket racebike construction?

I have downloaded one set of rules but they dont seem to be the current rules. Thanks in advance

Google search for rules indicate MNZ rules apply. When I googled MNZ rules download one of the results said you have to delete older versions of the rules before you download the new rules and it indicates you need to istall rules on your PC Some of us prefer to use alternative OS than Windows and why do you need to install. Doesnt make sense . I have 3 PCs and 4 OSs . One PC Dual boots XP- Ubuntu Linux and a single boot XP machine and the last one is a single boot Ubuntu machine. So I do have the capeability to download and install. But Iprefer not to install nothing . A PDF file downloaded to one of my Ubuntu machines is fine

CHAPTER 24



24 ROAD RACING - MINIATURE
24-1 The Miniature Road Racing class or `Bucket Racing’ as it is also known, shall be deemed
to include solo motorcycles and sidecars.
24-2 Motorcycles Technical:
24-2-1 Solo motorcycles shall have two engine capacity classes:
F4 2 stroke 55-100cc
2 stroke 55-125cc air cooled
4 stroke 55-150cc
F5 2 stroke 0-50cc
4 stroke 0-100cc air cooled
24-2-2 Sidecars shall have one engine capacity class:
2 stroke 55-100cc
2 stroke 55-125cc air cooled
4 stroke 55-150cc
24-2-3 The maximum capacity for rebored engines shall be:
F4 2 stroke 55-100cc - 104cc
2 stroke 55-125cc air cooled - 130.5cc
4 stroke 55-150cc – 158.09cc
F5 2 stroke 0-50cc - 53cc
4 stroke 0-100cc - 104cc
24-2-4 Engines must be derived from non-competition motorcycles. Motocross, Road Racing,
Enduro and Go Kart motors and transmission parts are not permitted. There shall be no
restriction on the make, type or design of carburettor, ignition, exhaust, piston, cam, valve
springs or cooling system except for class eligibility. All engines must be normally
aspirated except F4 4 stroke engines of less than 100cc capacity, which may be turbo or
supercharged.
F4 2 stroke engines over 104cc are restricted to carburation equivalent to a single 24mm
carburettor, F5 4 stroke engines over 53cc are restricted to carburation equivalent to a
single 20mm carburettor.
24-2-5 Fuel: See 10-17-1
Alcohol based fuel or fuel additives are prohibited.
24-2-6 Construction of Solo Motorcycles:
Miniature road racers are to be constructed in accordance with, and comply with, Chapter
10.

24-2-7 Construction of Sidecars:
Miniature road race sidecars are to be constructed in accordance with the following:
24-2-7-1 Wheel Track:
This shall be minimum of 650mm, maximum 1120mm. The front and rear wheels must
not be more than 70mm out of alignment of a straight line at right angles to the rear axle.
All measurements are taken at wheel centrelines.
24-2-7-2 Wheel Base:
Rear axle centre to front axle centre - min. 1300mm, max. 2000mm.The sidecar wheel
axle shall be between the rear wheel axle and the middle point of the wheelbase.
24-2-7-3 Basic Dimensions:
No part of the construction shall protrude more than 100mm outward from the outside
face of the sidecar tyre. No part of the construction shall protrude more than 550mm
outward from the centre of the rear tyre
Only streamlining and its support brackets shall protrude in front of the front tyre.
There must be a minimum of 75mm ground clearance when the sidecar is loaded with
driver and passenger in normal racing positions and all sumps and petrol, oil and water
tanks, radiators and associated piping must be adequately protected underneath by at least
14g steel or 10g aluminium guards if they come within 90mm of the ground.
24-2-7-4 Streamlining:
No part of the streamlining shall protrude more than 550mm forward from the front of the
front tyre. Care must be taken that the steering is not affected by the fairings. The sidecar
wheel, except for the outside face, shall be adequately covered above deck level.
24-2-7-5 The Steward of the meeting in conjunction with the Machine Examiner, may disqualify
any sidecar from the competition where the construction of the machine is such that it
could prove an unnecessary hazard to other competitors or other persons. This
disqualification may take place despite the fact that the specifications are in every other
respect, within the rules.
24-3 Races General
Miniature road races although conducted on smaller circuits are to comply with the same
rules of conduct that cover Road Racing. Where Miniature Road Races are held other than
on a Closed Road circuit MNZ shall advise what level of steward may officiate.
24-4 Licensing - Juniors 13 years and over shall be allowed to compete in miniature road
racing, with all licence and entry applications endorsed by a parent or legal guardian until
reaching the age of 16 years. The requirement for a senior licence (22-8-15) does not
apply to dedicated Miniature Road Race events on closed roads.

24-5 Miniature Road Race Grand Prix
Motorcycles eligible for the New Zealand Miniature Road Race Grand Prix shall be
F4 as per rule 24-2-1
F5 as per rule 24-2-1
Sidecars as per rule 24-2-2.
24-6 Points for Miniature Road Racing:
Points are awarded for 1st to 15th placing as follows: 20,17,15,13,11,10,9,8,7,6,5,5,5,5,5,

thanks F5 and koba a lot of people that know me think Im a know me before you judge me guy. But I can be saner than most at times. Basically I can carry another motor on the carrier on my moped and it doesnt take much time to change a motor. And my best other motor is a near new 90cc chinese 4 stroke which has gear pattern opposite to the 48cc thats on the ped. I cant see my coping with that anyway back to the drawing board

no leathers is another of my problems oh and no back protector and Im still getting over a spill from 2 weeks ago. And 2 days after the spill some young guy on a brand scooter came from the other side of the road hit my foot with his front guard . I abused him and he was close to tears when I left.
