    Hi from another Newbie (Zamiam)

Story of many of your lifes I guess - mid 40's, mid-life crisis so have just bought myself my first ever road bike (had dirt/trail bikes for quite a few years when I was much younger) - 2009 HD FXDF Fat Bob.

Looking forward to kicking back and having some stress relief crusing around the Taranaki etc. (hopefully I can stay upright). Will see some of you on the road I'm sure.

I dont call it a mid life crisis...its getting back to what I was doing before I was (rudely) interupted by marriage/kids/mortgages!

" Midlife Crisis", is a positive thing it creates changes, encourages you to attempt new things. It gives you the determination to ride a bike and achieve other things.

Hi Zamiam. Welcome to KB. Thats a nice bike you have but not really a learner bike. Keep the shiny side up and enjoy.
Ride it until the wheels fall off...
