Sat on one at Motomart. Apparently a pre-production model the journos were using for the magazine writeups.

Seemed positively light / low COG for a 1000cc bike. Should be quite nimble when out on the track methinks.

I had a sit on one at Wanganui. Felt like a grown up R6. The pillion seat is only there for entertainment. Everything felt like it was in the right place, and I was amazed by the fact that I could actually see 95% of what was behind me in the mirrors rather than just my shoulders/elbows. Unfortunately as it wasn't NZ registered we weren't allowed to ride it but I look forward to trying it out sometime.

If I had spare $27k I'd have one in a flash.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

I couldn't care less how often it will end up with podiums. If I was in the market for a new thou, it would be at the top of the list!
