It was ESP as it was in a ginger coloured towel.

It took me some time, only because I was not entirely happy with the clip, and I did not have that much stuff to add.
Interesting though there was quite alot of fingers of many people that wanted to be "finger stars"!!!!!!!

Still reflecting on a great rally, though sadly I am no longer re-gurging the taste of the white bait sammie.... gone forever it is

See al those at the Brass uh, that are goin'

Talking oi whose coming to the Beaumont Rally then eh?

    Hey Delightful Dudes and Dudess's,

Thought I'd perk this thread up and breath life back into it again

Whose coming to this, I reckon it will be a fantastic weekend, as I have said earlier its Landlords Gus's last time before he heads away, so he will be pulling out the stops, and who knows if it will happen again

Me for one I cant wait, I shall get there hammering on the gates on the Friday,to be let in, pitch the tent, get everything organised and down to the pub to start the afternoon off, wont have too many though and may even head back to the tent to put my feet up and read a book.

Just bought Clive Woodwards book (you know the guy that got us, the UK, to win the last world cup) unlike that useless bunch of prema donna rugby players you guys had and that pig headed Graham Henry, this guy shook the tree and made the apples drop from it and what Golden Apples they are.

Martin Johnson (English last skipper that held the World Cup and kissed it) has just been appointed Team Manager, with Brian Ashton back on board as Coach and with Rob Andrew on board, I reckon the brits....are going to do it again.

So 2011 will be the World Cup Victory for the UK Again
And 2012 will be the Olympics in London.

Sorry didnt mean to rub it in

Coi for now, see you at the Beaumont

The Off the rails been and gone, and I was pleased for the end and a break from rallies for a while.... The idea seemed nice at the time.... Now I would so love to be there again this year... last year was awesome as said.
but damn this thread resserection W-bee reminds me of the wedding I am going to instead... oh well means it will be a little closer to the brass... No doubt a good time will be had, and pictures to document the event.

Oh well Ghosty, I am sure that the wedding will be exciting.

I have had texts galore today from fellow bikers, non kber's, who are making it down to the Beamonty Rally on the Friday, so hope some of you dudes, get down on the Friday too.

The pub will be warm and friendly and I for one, like getting there and having a large night on Friday and tamer one (yeah right) on the Saturday.

I again will refuse the ride out on Saturday morning, as will be looking forward to a nice long lie in, and will have the burner filled to make a nice warm cuppa first thing.....................

Great to be at last getting organised for these rallies, ahving said that though, I lost all my luggae, when I rode back from Invercargill a week again, so am mourning the loss of whit loads of good gear, and having a major fight with my Insurance, do you have receipts........what wankers, who keeps receipts for things like Thermals, and knickers.......what nerks they are.

See you all at the Rally.

    Talking Beaumont Rally

Dey Dudes and Dudess's Very late but here goes..........................

Got there at about 545 pm after mucking about all day and not achieving much. But set off in the sunshine, and the ride was fantastic........the sun on your bike whilst riding I don't think can be beaten by anything. I love the change from Alex through to Beaumont with all the craggy hills and rambling countryside, again makes me sigh with happiness to be in this country.

Got to the site, and was met by the Grinning and ever lovely Gus, bought that fab long sleeve t-shirt, well worth the dosh, and looks the bee's bollocks.

Pitched the tent after saying gday to Paula and Dale, and realised that once again I had forgotten something useful.....my gas

The night passed with faces old and new and as usual too many beers, which rendered a restful sleep.

My tent got shook by my mate Brad in the morning, with a soft voice of "Jan would you like a cuppa", god knew what she was doing when she made men like this...............

The ride out wasn't until 12pm, what a thoughtful time of the day,,,,, so jumped on my mate Pete from Ashburton, 1300 Honda, and boy that shifted, we had stacks of stops in Milton, and everywhere, Clydedale was the final stop and how spectacular is it there.

The whole day was sunn, fun and hilarious at times, with annectdotes flowing and good humoured banter gathering speed. All in all 4 hours of fun.....always blissful on the back of some else's bike.

IDB you were missed but I found another gallant knight who did okay......

The night.................Met up with Tom the Pom bro's who was as mad as a box of hopping rogs but what a ncie, guy, he jumped on, knew he was going to be fun, when he said he he won some money he would have a bouncy castle in his back garden!!!!! my kinda guy....

Simon (Toms bro) and I danced and bounced around most of the night, and bollox was spoke for a good 7 hours, we danced on the trailer, I was going to do a partial striptease, but then the song ended thank god.............Then Anton and I crooned on the stage with the band................uh oh at this stage, the head was saying "wooooo pissed bird in motion", then the strangest thing happened.

The head steered me to the kitched at 3am for 5 cups of tea, and I headed to bed.

Woke up the next morning, by 830 and after another cuppa this time by nice geezer Baz, set off withthe Ashburton crew, by 930, thats a total frigging 1st.........

We rode through sun, got to Roxborough, and the shittiest bit of drizzly fog engulfed us in highwayman weather, and it was f..king shit all the way through until I reached cromwell......

Waved goodbye to Ashburton Pete, and Christchurch Ian.....and felt a pang of loneliness again as good friends headed away from me.

So headed home, and crashed to bed fairly early and I dont think an earthquake would have woken me up.....I reckon its better to have a lie in on the Sunday myself......

Rightyo write up done, heres hoping Danny and Bloke are having a fun 10 day trip together, and good fun again to catch up with XKNuts, Free2 Be, Al, and all the rest.

Steam our paths will cross again one day mateypoos.

    For now, cheerio
