Also heard that Terry Eva, long time Harley racer had a big crash on a MX bike and broke both ankles in a pretty big way.

I thought it was Terry Eva that only had one leg? or did he break his artificial one as well?

..but it's in the rules (no cf unless its on the bike as standard) yes. it's all pointless.

Also certain well known 600 racer at the weekend on the PA complaining about the state of the track and how bad it is. FFS we're all racing on the same surface. live with the bumps it makes life more exciting.

this does sound extremly petty. i wonder who it was that made that protest.

Was down for the weekend at Manfield but didn't make the practice day on Friday so was a bit too slow in getting up to speed. Qualified 10th out of 20 but had a crap first couple of races and ended up with a 16th, 12th and 9th, bugger is I've gone faster round that track on the K1 in the winter series! Full credit to Hayden for an awesome weekend.

Oh and this made me laugh......I got black flagged in the scrub in session for doing too many wheelstands - comment from the clark of the course was "You can't scrub in your bloody front tyre when it's in the bloody air!"

Anyway, see you guys at Puke this weekend, hopefully with some good results!

Yep. There would have been 14, except Terry was out (see above) and Barry Ames bike blew up in practice. How else do you think I got 7th

    Another write up here

Still. I went faster than I ever have done round Manfeild. There's plenty of room for improvement (esp. starts), but I'm getting there.

Going by the talent times listed, I woulda finnished the first two races in 10th or 11th place. On my road bike!

Someone give me some money quick! I wanna go racing!

Must say, it wont be long before Strouds on the 66 second bracket.

Wait for the K5. Rumour has it that in standard trim they're already putting out more power than ansteys race spec bike from this year.
