down bottom of page click the 'edit tags' and you can add tags

senior mods can see who started the tags, thread starter can remove threads, as well as senior mods

yes its used for abuse, or for people just typing crap its meant to be used for searching easier

I reckon if I put money on my bet it would return a healthy dividend. But in the end event a waste of space ( and time ) as there are a lot of genuine positive people out there who dont have a chip on their shoulder.

I thought i would comment on the seminar i attended in Wellington.
Luckily i saw some correspondence in one of Roberts posts and rung him immediately to find out where and when.
Yes the seminar did cost but i was well worth it to sit and listen from a wealth of experience that came from Peter.
To be honest the content would have suited those who had a sufficient level of understanding in regards to suspension and geometry and i found it a little over my head at times but in saying that it did broaden my knowledge and helped me to understand what set ups do for your bikes handling and feedback.
There seems to always be a compromise required with an emphasis on handling and grippage depending on the race track, surface and temperature.
What may be right on a track like Mansfield one day may not be right on the same track another day! this is why a good working knowledge of what your suspension does and what it can be made to do is imperative for the competitive racer to get the best out of his machine on the day.
The Continental guy who got up for 15 minutes during the seminar was excellent and we learnt abit about "cold shear" and other devastating effects to tyres when the suspension isnt set up properly.

Money well spent thanks again to CKT Robert and Peter and the Conti Guy (carnt remember his name) oh and the finger food was primo too.

It cracks me up about the tagging you must have over charged someone Rob Haahaaaaaaaa
Thanks for that and glad you got something out of it, so good to see so many positive people eager to learn! We do plan to conduct some of our own seminars with an element of hands on demos of adjustments, cause and effect etc. More closely aligned to track / raceday setups and external adjustments. We will use some of the material from Peters course. Those who are interested can pm me to express their interest and make suggestions of what they most expect from it.
The cost for the Goddard seminars did reflect the cost of flying him in and out, accomodation , meals, rental cars plus his fee etc. But without those overheads we will be able to offer seminars at a substanially affordable cost.

id be keen to attend a course like this as to learn how suspension works a bit better and get the know so I get a rough idea on race day were to go in terms of setup rather than running round after people asking for there advice
