Hi all, hope you don't mind me adding this here but as it is on the theme...
Just back from a few days on the coro and couldn't miss the opportunity to let all know about a mint place we stayed. 20 minutes north of Coromandel town, along some great twisties, you come to Amadeo Bay. The Anglers lodge is the perfect place $195 for a 6 bed cabin with everything. Fall out of bed and into boat for awesome morning fishing. We didn't get to know anybody, too busy reeling them in with often two on the same line. Boatman Richard really good fun and will provide you with pretty much what you want on the fishing front. Smoke house, barbie and lots of reciepes too.

Nice ride into coro for the nightlife (pinky did a runner after we had been to see the ' Drifters' (I kid you not). Non fishing people can swim, hot tub or explore the islands and down a few on shore.

Anyway a great place to spend a few days with the bonus of great roads to get there.Anybody into riding and fishing who wants to plan a trip give me fair warning.
