Peugeot 406 caught doing 406MPH by camera

Yes really.

A guy in the UK has been caught by a speed camera alledgedly doing 406MPH in a standard Peugeot 406. The driver thinks it's a joke as the speed camera must obviously be faulty, but the authorities appear to be seriously considering taking him to court!!

Actualy after thinking about it a bit,there's probably more to this than meets the eye.
A 406 doing 406 ??
Me thinks somebody wrote on the wrong line or sumint like that.
Would be neat to be in the court house that day but!!

Anyhow this is a old joke that came about years ago (or a remake of it), they even made a french movie about it - sort of along the same lines as 'The Transporter', but in french and with a 405/6.
I guess some jokes never die.

Sounds like a bullshit story to mee - probably originates from Peugeot's marketing team...
