Repairs done a few weeks ago are delaminating over the same bald areas that required the repair in the first place. So you no longer have chip changing reasonably predictably to bald bits, you've got unstable new grit changing very suddenly to random bald bits.
If you can figure lines through the grit and it stays put for the day it's do-able. If it's damp and you drift off line then god help you.
