It is possible that Speedpro might know what bucket power is possible to produce at a price you can afford.

That and Speedpro has been racing buckets since before you were born

    Cheque book racing

This bike isn't in the spirit of bucket racing, it's another case of one of the few that writes a big cheque to buy the fastest, flashest bike on the market

Hope you haven't brought it cos it's got a competetion motor. Troy Tipene had one !!

You don't seem to be making a lot of sense mate

I don't know what you would pay for this machine but being Polini I'd guess a few grand. Why didn't you go buy a real bucket, a good twin just sold on Trademe for under $1000.

    Expect some fallout

    Steve....

Hmmmmmm . . . sensitive wee lad. The being able to afford comment is along the lines of the "if you have to ask you can't afford it" saying. Just another way of saying it costs a lot. I personally don't give a shit what you can afford. I worry about things like going fast and trying to beat other riders. I would expect at the most maybe 12hp from one of those engines which if I'm not mistaken is a copy of a 100 year old Honda design. FXR powered bikes which are a reasonably modern design put about 17-18hp to the ground.

...OK i only got the polini motard because i could trade my polini in for it.....its less of a hassel.......i havnt actually done the deal yet and now im having second thoughts.....

i thought bucket bike racers would be as friendly as minimoto racers but...as it seems their not.......might be better off racing minimoto at least im not going to be lectured by dozens of people just waiting snap at my mistakes......

I think everyone is trying to say. Its the wrong bike. That is outside the rules and if you want to win and go fast get something that will make your life easier. Not harder. Then if you do win. No one will be able to question the skill.

No one is snapping, not from what I am reading and I can assure you that we are a very friendly helpful lot.

And that is what everyone is trying to do, help, from the information we can see the polini does not fit into the rules for F4 or F5, and everyone would hate to see ANYONE spend money on a bike that at the end of the day is not eligable to run

I have got no idea what the hell a Dyang Honyo pit bike is so I cant really coment

But the fact the Polini is a 110cc (presumably 4 stroke??) makes the claim of 24hp all the funnier

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round
