I had a look on the way back (sorry - bit late coming back from my mate's place) but didn't see anything except you coming back in the other direction so I turned around thinking you were stopping to look or something only to pass you coming the other way again!
Good ride though apart from dodgey old fellas in utes on the Rimutakas. I noticed the 'new' pub had motorbike racing on tv when we were there - perhaps they're trying to encourage us back? Found out later that it was some R6 qualifying/promo/something race which cleared up my confusion about there being 4 red R6s all in the front.

What an enjoyable nights riding. Thanks to all who came along and made it memorable.

"Tough guy" of the evening's got to go to Flyin for chasing the abbusive prick in the ute down the road on foot. Well done that bloke.

"Dumb guy" goes to the ute driver for pulling up and hurling verbal abbuse at a group of 15 bikers. Use your head mate, you'll last longer.

"Wheelie guy" goes to Jimbo who's finally mastered the art of steering the bike on one wheel. Looks fucken cool.

"Fast chick" is a tie for the first time in history. Velox and Vikki, can't decide who it was 'cause I couldn't keep up.

"Good launch" has got to be Deanos effort off the lights, followed very closely by TheYoshie. Good shit guys.

"Best effort" has got to be Flyin and ZXR'. You boys far from disgraced yourselves and well done for turning up on 250s. Just as well Luke wasn't there.

And finnaly, the "Out of luck" award, goes to the Highway patrolman, lying in wait for his next victim, only to be passed by 6 or 7 bikes travelling between 130 and 160kays. He was a good sport about it though and waved us through.
