    YOSHI RS3 carbon

Just ordered one from the states. Not because I didnt want to support my local bike shop, but because it had to do with dollars.
Ordered on here in WHK, all good, coming from Mat Madlin. I get a quoted around $820. I get a call, sorry but we dont have one in stock...but theyre sending you a tri oval one in carbon (What? didnt ask for that) and were sorry to tell me but the price has increased a tad....to $1299. geeze. Thanks but no thanks.....hows the % increase there?!
So onto the internet.....I have one coming for $NZ 837, including freight.
How are these local guys going to make money?
And hasn't the internet made commerce so bloody easy.
    Cant wait to hear it.

Mat Mladin Imports has the monopoly on Yoshimura parts (specifically exhausts) into NZ and Aussie. And from what i've been told they've been taking most of the profit for themselves - the shops aren't making a whole lot of profit on them.

I ordered a Stainless Yoshi TRC for his FZ1, price incl shipping was $636NZD, plus customs charges of $80. It arrived within 6 days of being paid for. The closest price we got in NZ for the same pipe was $1150 and that was with a discount, and was going to take a week to arrive. We were getting about $1NZD/$0.80USD at the time

The ebay companies in the States have buying power and are able to hold reasonable prices, remember they are buying 20-50x more product than the NZ shops, and are also selling them much quicker too.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
