So it keeps you smiling then! That's the main thing!

And the most important question: Are you going to take it to the track? Once or twice maybe just to find out the beast within the animal!

Welcome to the site GSXR1000. And thanks for the link to the superbike school. Hmmm, ride day at Phillip Island, sounds like a good reason to plan a holiday in Melborne....

Nice pic - you looked the part! So does the Phillip Island circuit allow you to take the Gixxer up to full noise, an indicated 299kmph on the clock?

Checked out your BikePics pages and really like the look of your '04 1000, especially with the carbon Yoshi. What on earth did you do to your poor '02 model?? Talk about a write off! Did you walk away unharmed?

weekend ride up a set of twisties, coming up to a blind right hander, layed the bike over for the corner, next thing I see is a busa coming around on the wrong side of the road, straighted the bike up but he just hit the back of my bike, by the time I realised my front wheel was in the gravel on the side of the road, so down went the bike and over the bank we went, bike hit a tree, putting a hole in the bottom of the engine and I walked away.....my mates caught the guy who didn't stop down the bottom of the hill checking his bike for damage......a bit of a twist to this story is a few months after this he did the same thing to a car(head on)....poor guy...only a young guy as well.....wouldn't wish that on any one....

anyways what a hell way to get a new bike.......

    cheers
