Coast to Coast Ride 21st March

Good ride had by all today I reckon. Not a bad turn out for the annual Coast to Coast ride from Kariotahi Beach, Waiuku to Whitianga. Good weather, good company and as per usual good twisties, I've totally scrubbed in my new tires!

Looking forward to seeing some of the videos of the day DUCATI*HARD

I had a blast, some of those roads were so sweet. Had to return to the city that night so got to do the Coro bit in reverse. When I got to Kopu felt like hanging a left and going round again. Similarly at Miranda my thumb hovered over the indicator to take the long way home, but the thought of the my family waiting patiently(im) kept me straight ahead. Possibly not my best decision of the day given the $200 speeding ticket on the Southern, god motorways are boring was on snooze control in traffic as it was.
    Awesome day.

Ahh so the group I tagged along at the back with Yamaha64Life was the illustrious Ducati*Hard? I was riding out from Kopu when I espied a group of bikers at the front of the bridge! Before I could filter to the front to join, the ferkin lights changed and every dog and his cage sallied forth!

Anyhow, riding along, I took the long way home via Miranda, and as I got to the 25kph corner with the bridge, I saw some tailights vanishing along the left road out to the hunuas. So I zipped down that road and by the time I got to the adjoining road, I saw Yamaha64Life at the stop.

I was kind of wondering where the group was going when they headed past the hunua right turn! Turns out that they were just wanting to see the dead end at the end of the road

Anyhows, I tootle off down the hunuas and for that brief moment, got to appreciate some biker chicks riding some nice bikes!

Btw Raj, that overshirt you were wearing made you look like the hunchback of Notre Dame!
