Hehehe....Cone of Silence, more commonly called the helmet...been laughed at a few times by mates after continuing a conversation after putting on a helmet...

Thanks for the advice, I don't have boots (just using plain old leather work boots, adequate control but not much safety...and didn't think I needed the gloves, until I talked to a seasoned rider workmate of mine who elaborated on the weeks he spent without palms coming off his Bandit...so those have found their way to the top of the "to get" list.

About the pants, the ones I tried on while getting my jacket at Motomail all didn't fit me, I'm not the tallest, the kneepad sat too low, over my shin. Gotta do a bit of looking before I'll find one that'll suit, methinks...not keen on leather pants.

Top priority is that front tyre though, after my weekly NDE I've figured out she's not likely to handle well in the rain.

Anyone know much about GPX transmissions? After topping out well below the spec top speed I think the clutch is slipping at high rpm, are there any adjustments to be made or is it definitely up for replacement plates?

Lock ya bike up well at the uni... I have sometimes parked up there and its a tight fit at times to get ya bike in....
