    yea i did look for something like this but did not see it after.

    You guys are looking like your going on saturday anyway.
    If you cant fix it with a hammer, Its an electrical problem.

    hold your horsedidilyorses, i checked my real shitty but somehow accurate waether report on ipod and it said saturday=shitstorm, friday=clouds, so sat. will prolly be way outta the q., and friday, im keen, clouds r good

    hey guys..geez its been a while..lets do fri..sat has been confirm to be a fuk load of rain...as much as i love drifting, its a whole diff story on bikes..lol..soo whse in on fri..?? il leave it to dan to make the plans as im at work and cant check this site and the fact he is a better rider and planner..hope to see u guys on fri if its on..hopefully it is..
    For those of you whose use the fast lane on motorways and only do a 100km/hr, can you pls use the middle lane, some of us like to ride at 105km/hr thank you very much.

    I am keen to do coro tomorrow 27th.
    Is anyone actually going as i would like to kick start it early.

    on the up side, the ZXR has stopped making that noise and is easier to start

    once the tensioner was back in it took up all the slack and problem fixed. took a while to get the airbox etc on properly, then once all teh fairings were on and radiator refilled we spotted the air filter sitting innocently on the bench.

    SO, for future reference, if the cam chain sounds horrible, remove lower right fairing, remove tensioner, reassemble and reinstall tensioner as per manual, start bike and see if noise stopped.

    do NOT remove the airbox etc, the tensioner is on the right hand end of the motor. do not remove radiator etc to remove the rocker cover, replacing the chain is a job best left for the shop or the brave... or the properly equipped


    those kawasaki tensioners are so bloody poorly designed, if i had bought one of those back in the early 90s i would have demanded a recall
