Question Isle of Man helmet cam video?

    Hey all,

I'm really interested in getting hold of a helmet cam video from someone doing the Isle of Man, but not one that is broken up with different shots of the bikes going past etc - just a helmet/bike cam video from one bike for the entire race.

Does such a thing even exist and if so, where would be a good place to get one from?

Appreciate any help you can give!

    Cheers
    Graham

Just get a copy of any of the Duke IOM DVDs. They usually have a couple of different riders doing just that.

Prob your best bet would be TT Circuit Guide (race it,ride it,watch it)This dvd takes you on an instructional lap round the course and features as well, an on board complete lap with Dave Jefferies.

Another good one is On-Bike Road Race Experience 2. On board footage of the TT and Ulster GP,Cookstown 100.

And if you want old Skool footage you can't beat V Four Victory with yer maun Joey Dunlop on the V4 in 1983.

    All available on Duke.

there are a few on Utoob although usually the Mad Sunday ride I think, there is about 6 minutes of the late David Jefferies doing a Mad Sunday run that is worth a look

V Four Victory is still amazing. You need to watch it a few times so you can get to understand his accent.

There was a story (urban legend) of a guy who was so involved with it that while watching it he was tilting his head and body, following the movement of the bike/screen to such an extent he fell off his chair and broke his arm. Doh.

    But it really is good.

Fastest lap of the IOM with Guy Martin:

    Part 2

Be sure to watch it full screen, on high resolution (and then run it through your plasma ), be sure to wear brown underpants, and warn those around you that for the next 17 minutes you will be gob open, cock erect, shaking your head, and muttering, fuuuuuccckkkkk.

Most amazing video on youtube. Ever. Impressed? Yes
