    Remuera Road, Remuera, Auckland (21/2/09)

To the bare-skinned scooter rider on Remuera Road,

I think the picture says it all, you the numb nut riding a scooter with no clothes and no steering control, plus swerving from lane to lane is not exactly the safest way to travel. Plus it's just a plain nuisance to other vehicles on the road, you came quite close to my car yesterday and I had to brake and swerve onto the median lane to avoid you! Boy will I be furious if you tapped my car

P.s. If you did crash into my car, or any other car, I won't actually give a shit that you're all bloodied and scratched up, it's your fault for not wearing the right protection gears and lack the skill to control a scooter with no hands. Plus I'll probably stop and give you a boot in the head for stupidity If I see you again I will report you to the authority.

And you don't think it was dangerous taking photographs whilst driving?

He had no shirt on so he could stay cooooool man. You dig?
At least he had a helmet on, so his brain could comprehend the pain and suffering of road rash when he arses off.

Are you sure? I'd have thought nothing would be exactly what they would do.
It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.

Hehehe - too true. A classic case of natural selection and a donor for those not so fortunate in hospital. Hopefully the other viatal organs (other than the damaged brain) are all good to be shared around...

You see, he is not using a vehicle. He is playing with a toy. As long as we allow toys on the road, and don't require those playing with them to be licenced, then we will have this kind of problem.

    Unfortunately
    1) it is a dangerous toy
    2) when he gets hurt the statistics are likely to show that a 'motorcyclist' was injured on the road
    3) your average car driver sees this kind of bvehavour and tucks it away in the part of their brain reserved for "stupid motorcyclists and the reasons they shouldn't be allowed on the road."

Whereas actually he's a stupid (unlicenced) kid playing with a dangerous (unwarranted) toy in the middle of the road, and is likely to get run over, as stupid kids do.
There is no such thing as bad weather; only inappropriate clothing!
