Pavlova
Ingredients
4 egg whites (60g)
1 cup castor sugar
4 teaspoons cornflour
1 teaspoon vinegar or lemon juice
Vanilla essence (tiny drop)
Method
1. Lightly grease a tray and lay down greaseproof paper to size and shape of Pavlova.
2. Beat egg whites until stiff and frothy.
3. Gradually add sugar, continue to beat until thick.
4. Mix in cornflour and vinegar or lemon juice.
5. Spread with spoon or pipe onto the prepared tray.
6. Bake in slow oven, 120-150°C for 2 hours.
Serve with HEAPS of whipped cream and fresh fruit salad![]()
That is alot of cornflour.
